Day 1: Holiday Card Workshop

I am SO behind!!!  Do you want to know how many Christmas cards I've made???  None, zero, zip, zilch.  I've been having too much fun to think about making the 100+ cards I need to send out for myself, nonetheless the ones I need to make for the office, etc.  Oh my!  Usually I make my cards in January and don't even think twice about them until I mail them.  If only I had done that this year.

So, I signed up for the Holiday Card Workshop class in hopes that it will inspire me to get my rear in gear!  Day 1 was just what I needed...mass producing!  Kristina and Jennifer had some great tips and if you aren't signed up for the class, you totally should!  I'd love to see your cards in the gallery.  Without further ado, here's a couple cards from my card set design.  It's pretty simple but I think it might be a good card for the office this year!

Stamps:  Funky Herringbone (Market Street Stamps), For The Record (Simon Says Stamp), Snowflake Flurries (PTI),
Inks:  Cherry (Amuse Studio). Tuxedo Black (Momento), Metallic Silver (StazOn)
Dies & Cuts:  For The Record (Simon Says Stamp), Heart (EK Success)
Paper: Shallows, Celadon (Hero Arts), Solar White (Neenah)
Misc:  Foam Tape (Scotch), Glitter Tape (American Crafts)

  1. I'm taking the class...need a push to get going...I'm about half way through. I am going on a girls scrapbook weekend so I'm hoping to play along with the first weeks inspiration then! Love your card set. The glitter heart is perfect!
