A Challenge Combo!

Good afternoon!  I finally got my butt in the craft room for a bit.  I decided to tackle two challenges today!  The Play Date Cafe and CAS-ual Fridays.  These challenges were just perfect together.  I got to use some kraft for CAS-ual Fridays:


 

Plus, this amazing color combo for Play Date Cafe's challenge:


 


Then to top it all off, I found this awesome inspiration on Pinterest:


 

I just loved it and it made me think of the cloud impression plate from Clear & Simple Stamps.  So, I did my embossing and then filled in a couple of the clouds with the coordinating shapes from the die set.  I finished it off with a tag stamp from Avery Elle and while I hate making sympathy cards, I'm happy with how this turned out.  I hope you like it!

    Really lovely Chrissy! I totally agree that sympathy cards can be the hardest to do especially in such a clean and contemporary way.

    LOVE this...awesome combo of inspirations! Now are those 'real' raindrops? Well, you know what I mean....I need some of those...can you tell me who makes them?

      Hi, Amy! I got them in two different colors at Joanns and, luckily, I found a brand new pack! They are from Cloud9 Design and called Teardrop Rain Dots. Hope that helps. :)
