First Day of School!

Today was the first day of our first year at the Iowa Virtual Academy.  With all my kids still home and 2 trying to get there school work done, I wasn't sure I'd have time to make a card today.  Luckily, I had the inspiration and the little snippets of time to get it done.  Now I need a vacation!  Ha ha!!

Today's card was inspired by Retro Sketch #25 on the Retro Sketches challenge blog and the Embellish Magazine Pinwheel Color Trends challenge.  Again, I broke out the Silhouette and had a little fun.  I played around with my layout a bit and this is what I came up with.  Enjoy!

Stamps:  Framed Fonts (Avery Elle)
Inks:  Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Cuts:  Chevron Banner (Sarah Hurley), 3D Rosette Dotted, 3D Rosette Scalloped (Alaa' K)
Paper:  Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics, Dotty Biscotti, Raspberry Fizz Pattern Pack,  (PTI)
Misc:  Foam Tape (Scotch), Buttons (PTI), Twine (The Twinery)
