I've made it to Day 4!

So far so good!  I've been keeping up with my "homework" for my Clean & Simple Cards class.  Today we were challenged to use a stamp in a different way.  Hmmm...interesting.  Kristina offered several interesting takes on the challenge but the most difficult part for me was choosing a stamp to play with.  It finally dawned on me that this was the perfect challenge for me to make a card for my soon to be 3 year old nephew, James.

James is a happy go lucky sort of guy with a HUGE smile and HUGE heart!  He's so darn cute, you could just kiss him!  If only he lived closer.  It seems like only yesterday that he was born and now he's already 3.  Well, he deserves a card that is as light-hearted as he is.

I decided to use the Alphablocks stamp set from Papertrey Ink (PTI) to make patterned paper for my cloud die cuts.  This airplane is from the Fly Away stamp set and the card is made with Spring Rain cardstock from PTI.  The sentiment is a random clear stamp I found in one of my desk drawers.  ;)

I made the inside pop with the other airplane from the stamp set and used the banner (also in the set) for a cute little message.

I hope he gets a kick out of this card.  It is always fun making a special card for a special someone!  Thanks for checking out my card!
