Happy Birthday, James!

I have been wanting to play with my Gypsy a little more and try welding things to make fun card shapes. With my nephew's birthday coming up and the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge on hand, I started working on a fun card. My nephew LOVES vehicles, as many little boys do, so I thought about doing a train card but really his older brother is more of the train buff. Instead, the truck called to me. I welded the roof of the truck together on my Gypsy and sized it to a width of 5.5" so if would fit in an envelope. After I laid it out nicely on my Gypsy, I decided I could fit two on a page with the accessories. Everything fit perfectly and I easily made my card for my nephew and one for his brother to ensure minimal bickering for my sister-in-law. ;)

The Imagine synced with my Gypsy and cut the project out perfectly. One of these days, I'll remember to break out my Flip camera when I'm doing these things and video tape it! Oh well. I guess you will just have to settle a picture of the card!

Here it is:

It turned out great and I added a little orange Stickles for some flame detail to the side. I think he is going to LOVE it!
