Frantic Stamper Carousel Horse

Good morning you guys!  Today, I'm sharing my final creation with the Frantic Stamper June Release products.  I've been having a blast with these products and I hope you have enjoyed my creations.  It's an amazing release, jam packed with fun.  My card today features the Small Carousel Horse.

I wanted to keep the Small Carousel Horse cut as simple as possible.  I stuck to white but cut it out of watercolor paper just in case I wanted to add color later.  Then I started creating the cardbase that the image inspired.  I started going in a rainbow direction but when I set this glitter tapes out together, I fell in love with the color combo.  It felt like cotton candy or something and went so well with the horse.  I found some patterned paper that coordinated but didn't take over and layered on my tapes before adding a chipboard heart and my Small Carousel Horse cut.  I felt it needed a little something darker to ground everything so I layered it on a brown woodgrain cardbase.  Finally, I found a sentiment sticker and it looked just right among the stripes.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for checking out my card and I hope you have enjoyed what I created with this awesome June release from Frantic Stamper.  Have a great day!

Monkey Around - Frantic Stamper

This new release is so much fun and I hope you have enjoyed all my monkeying around with the Frantic Stamper June Release products.  I've been having a blast sharing my creations and this one is more fun than a barrel of monkeys!  Check it out:

The Circus Monkey Die (FRA-DIE-10229) is such a fun die to play with.  I almost couldn't decide what to do with it because I had too many ideas.  I finally settled on a very acrobatic circus act!  The idea came to me after picking up my boys from gymnastics and hearing about all their fun.  I started by cutting all my monkeys and the unicycle using the Circus Monkey Die.  I got my little monkey lad all positioned on his unicycle and ready to support his lady partners in their crazy acrobatic positions.  I layered this crazy trio on a fun and very circus like patterned paper and then gave each some googly eyes and bow tie or hair bow that I cut from glitter tape.  My sentiment is a combo of word stickers popped up with foam tape.  A few sequins finish the card off.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for checking out my card and I can't wait to share more of what I created with this awesome June release from Frantic Stamper.  See you soon!

Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day 3!

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Lisa's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first project is a wonderfully reflective birthday card using Mirror Mirror Stamps, Mirror Mirror Die Set, and Mirrored Reflective Specialty Paper.

As soon as I laid eyes on the Mirror Mirror Stamps, I knew I wanted to gold emboss them.  So, I did on some peachy card stock die cut with the Mirror Mirror Die Set.  Next, I used my Mirror Mirror Die Set to cut some Mirrored Reflective Specialty Paper to add the perfect reflective surface to my mirror.  I wanted to make sure I dressed this gorgeous mirror up a little more and I knew the flowers and banner from Vintage Ink Stamps were the perfect addition to my card.  I stamped and colored my flowers with copics and then cut them out with the Vintage Ink Die Set before arranging them around my mirror on this polka dot card front.  My banner was stamped on vellum with a sentiment from Mirror Mirror Stamps and placed across my mirror to finish off the card.

My next card uses the amazing Hello Beautiful Stamps and Hello Beautiful Dies.

This whole card started with the super cool funky rectangley border like die in the new Hello Beautiful Dies.  I really love the way this looks cut.  I decided to use it as an anchor for my focal piece of my card.  Sort of like the ground?  So, I cut it out and lined the back with a coral/red color peeking through.  Next, I had some fun creating my bird using the Hello Beautiful Stamps.  After cutting him out, I stamped each piece in my selected colors.  He's SO cute!  I embossed my sentiment on my card and added my bird.  When it was done, I added it to this funky background before adding some enamel dots.

My final card for you during this release shows off more of the Hello Beautiful Stamps and Hello Beautiful Dies.  I also incorporated the new Fringe Scalloped Squares Dies.

I love the amazing flowers in the Hello Beautiful Stamps set and to say I love the birthday sentiment is an understatement!  So, I wanted to frame them up with the Fringe Scalloped Squares Dies.  I created this card for my niece's birthday and she love triangles so I started with this triangle paper and created a frame using Fringe Scalloped Squares Dies.  I wanted to keep the fun up but not bring in too much color so I went with a gray striped paper in the frame opening.  I stamped my sentiment on a vellum strip with the flowers stamped, colored, and cut with Hello Beautiful Dies arranged all around.  The last thing I did for this card was to add a couple enamel hearts.

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I hope you enjoyed out new release!  We love sharing these awesome products with you!  Be sure to keep hopping, here's the list:

Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last few products but before we get into all that I have to make sure you are coming here after visiting Lisa.  If not, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a a stop on the hop.  You won't want to miss a thing!  While you are visiting the Lil' Inker Blog, make sure you go check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the January release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart.  Now it's time to show off these fantastic products!  I've packed in tons of products into this last day and I hope you like them.

Coffee.  Do I even need to say more?  I'm a coffee lover and while I like a nice normal cup of coffee in the morning (with a little butter), I LOVE a froo froo coffee drink just as much...maybe more than the next person.  So, I was thrilled with the new Coffee Talk Stamps and couldn't wait to stamp and color this cute little iced coffee!  I stamped it on a tanish paper and stamped my ice.  I colored it in just a bit with some copics but I wanted a little more color so I stamped my cup again on some turquoise paper and cut out just the little cup holder to add to my finished cup.  I love how the ice looks SO real!  I had this cute little coffee but nothing to put it on so, I grabbed this fun washi tape pattern paper but it was too busy so I used a piece of cherry wood veneer that I die cut with the fabulous new Cover Up Die: Eyelet.  I layered this over a piece of lighter veneer and added it to the card front.  I liked it but it still needed something.  I grabbed more pattern paper and my Circles Banners Dies to add a little extra fun to the card.  I added my coffee and for the cute coffee sentiment, I used a rectangle from the Embossed Dots Rectangles Dies.  Such fun all in one card!

My final card of the release uses the awesome new Dual Dotted Squares Dies.

You guys all know how much I loved the Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies, well, the Dual Dotted Squares Dies are just as amazing!  I had so much fun taking full advantage of the dual cutting on these.  It made creating fun frames a breeze.  All I had to do was pick the papers.  ;)  I went with these awesome gold embellished papers.  I even found this gold hello circle on the back of another paper.  Love when that happens.  This card is all about the diecutting and these are some fabulous dies.  I finished it off with a glitter heart and a copic colored heart that I cut using the Of the Heart Dies.

Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day 2

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I'm having the hardest time deciding what to share with you on what days because I think it's all SO amazing!  How's a girl to choose?  Lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  How awesome is that?  Fabulous, gorgeous, awesome, they all pretty much sum up Lea's designs and hopefully you are coming here from her blog.  If not, don't miss out and make sure you start at the beginning of the hop, right here on the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now I get to show off some more goodies including the new Ombre Pattern Paper Packs.

First up, I'm going to show off Wrappers Delight: Sunburst Die and Go Confidently Stamps.

So, I had this cute little cupcake box in one of my favorite colors and I had no idea what I was going to do with it.  That is, until I saw the Wrappers Delight: Sunburst Die.  I decided this didn't have to be a cupcake box.  I could totally use it as a gift box for a special graduate that I knew would love it.  So, I grabbed my Go Confidently Stamps and set to work.  I cut the Wrappers Delight: Sunburst Die out of a fun yellow heart paper, stamped my sentiment, and attached it to the window on my box.  I used the wrapping idea of this die and wrapped it around the edges.  I love how it makes the whole box look special.  I liked it but felt like it needed a little something more.  So, I grabbed my Stitched Stars Die Set and cut some stars in coordinating colors.  I layered these on my box front and added a little bling to finish it off.  How cute will this be with a little gift wrapped in some tissue paper inside?  Just perfect!

Next up, I had some fun with the Go Confidently Stamps, Ombré Stripes Paper Pad, Party Pachyderms Stamps and Party Pachyderms Die Set.

Don't you just love the new pattern papers?  I sure do!  I used a piece from the Ombré Stripes Paper Pad for the background of this card and it is just amazing!  I paired it with a pocket scrapbooking 3x4 card that I had lying around that I knew would be perfect with some sentiments from the Go Confidently Stamps.  I positioned the sentiments on the card but it felt like it needed something even more to make it truly awesome.  I knew just the party animal to call upon, the Party Pachyderms Stamps and new Party Pachyderms Die Set.  I stamped my little guy in ombre ink to add a little more of that amazing look to this card.  Then, I finished the whole thing off with some gold stars and sequins.  So fun!

Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day 1

To say I'm excited about this release is an understatement, I'm absolutely giddy!  You have no idea how it has been killing me waiting to share these amazing Lil' Inker Designs goodies with you.  I love it all and I hope you are as blown away by the team's creations and the amazing products as I am.  Everything is just wow!  Lucky for you, the whole release is available right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  You should have just enjoyed a wonderful look at the amazingness on Heather's blog.  If you didn't arrive to my page via Heather's, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog to start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing.  You will want to see all the amazing creations for this release.

Today, I'm going to show off these amazing products:   Cover Up Die: Alphabet, Stork Stuff Stamps, Stork Stuff Dies, Scratch Off Stickers Silver Pack of 10, Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies, Baby Word Die, and Embossed Dots Rectangles Dies.

I started cutting the adorable Stork Stuff Dies from pink and blue patterned paper because I knew I wanted to do a gender reveal card using the Scratch Off Stickers Silver Pack of 10 (also available in gold).  I cut my cute little storks and added the eyes from the Stork Stuff Stamps.  I attached these to a piece of gray cardstock and then cut it using a Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies.  I love the dots on these and the fact that they cut them on both sides of the cut line.  I feel like they lend themselves really well to graphic cards but I was surprised at how adorable they were on a more whimsical card like this.  LOVE!  Next, I cut my little bundle, stamped the sentiment from Stork Stuff Stamps, and covered it with a Scratch Off Sticker.  I cut the amazing Cover Up Die: Alphabet from yellow paper and attached a layer of vellum behind it before attaching it to a gray card base.  I used the vellum to soften the gray card base so I didn't have gray on gray on gray...ha ha!  Next, I added my stork layer and another Dual Dotted Rectangle stamped with my sentiment from Stork Stuff Stamps.  I used the already cut out circles to add a little yellow twine to the sentiment layer helping it pop.  I finished the whole thing off with some enamel hearts.  You can see how the card looks before scratching and after.  What fun!

Next up, I had some fun with the Baby Word Die, and Embossed Dots Rectangles Dies.

This card couldn't have been easier to create and it turned out amazingly well.  When you have cute dies and stamps, you just make cute cards.  Ha ha!  I started with a gray front that I used the Embossed Dots Rectangles Dies.  These are bigger dots and there is more space between the dots than in the Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies.  Another obvious difference, one embosses and the other cuts.  I can see them both being staples in my crafting.  I had this fun cloud printed vellum that I knew would make an adorable baby card so I used the previously released Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die to created this fun panel of vellum.  The holes were perfect to wrap some hemp twine through before adding the Baby Word Die and stamped "welcome" from Stork Stuff Stamps.  All that was left was to literally puffy heart this card.  ;)  Super simple and cute.
