Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter! So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog. Now for the fun!
My first card is one you've seen around a bit. Ha ha! It uses the AMAZINGLY cool Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up as well as the cutest little critters from the Easter Parade Stamps and Easter Parade Dies.
As soon as I made the first cut with the Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up, I knew it was love and I knew I wanted to peek some color out from under those cute eggs. Lucky for me, my mom had just sent me half of the coolest paper ever and it was so bright and fun that it was perfect under the eggs that I bent up slightly to expose the paper beneath. I love that the Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up gives so many options for fun. Pop the eggs up, one side or both, leave them flat, do a little of both...SO FUN! Here's a good look at the color under my eggs:
After I finished oooing and ahhhing at this fun background of eggs, I got to work cutting my little Easter Parade Stamps with the Easter Parade Dies and coloring them before adding them to the "road" I created with some glitter tape and a cut using the Stitched Scallop Border Die. Here's
another peek:
I had a little extra of the fun springy paper left and decided that the Peek-A-Boo Bunny Die needed a fun floral crown for my next card!
Chrissy Larson <---Yup, that's me!!!
Don't forget you can check out the new release right now in the Lil' Inker Store and you can get all the goodies I used today. Here's what I used:
