CardMaker Blog Hop With Lil' Inker Designs

I just love the new floral stamps, Best Blooms, and the dies that coordinate, Best Blooms Dies.  I decided they would be perfect for my hop card today!  So, I grabbed some papers that seemed super springy and got to work.  I started with this pretty polka dot paper and added the chevron paper trimmed along the chevron shape to make a fun pattern at the bottom.  Next, I added a frame element from the same line as the papers, Little By Little.  I added a birthday sentiment from Best Blooms Stamps and then got to cutting out and stamping flowers using the stamps with the Best Blooms Dies.  I stamped my flowers in coordinating colors and then layered them around my frame.  Here's another look:

LID and CardMaker Fall Hop

I created two fall card for this hop using the So Thankful Stamps, and the So Thankful Label Die.

I wanted to show off the versatility of these two awesome products by making an elegant card and a fun and playful card using the same stamps and die.  First up, my more classic card.

I started this card with a simple striped background.  I cut my So Thankful Label Die and punched a hole in the top to turn it into a tag.  I then stamped the frame, elegant sentiment, and classic thanksgiving designs from So Thankful Stamps on the tag to dress it up.  I stamped my sentiment first in yellow and then stamped over it but off set a bit in orange for a little pop.  I tied my tag to the card with twine and finished it all off with a gorgeous flower and some gold dots.  Simple clean and elegant.  Now for a little fun!

This card started with a bit of a wilder background choice.  It's a fun pattern on a blue black paper.  Super cool.  I used the So Thankful Label Die in the same way as the card above but chose the more silly/fun sentiment from So Thankful Stamps.  I stamped the fun accent designs around my tag in various colors for some whimsy.  I attached this tag to my card with some fun yellow and white twine with a pom pom that I made for a little extra smile.  I finished it all off with some enamel dots and hearts.
