Good morning everyone! Today is a special day, it's the 2018 Stamping For Autism Awareness Bloghop! I'm very happy to be a part of this amazing bloghop and if it opens the eyes of just one person or teaches someone a little something, it's a huge success in my mind. It just warms my heart to be a part of a hobby that is full of people with such big hearts. Autism touches the lives of a few very special people in my life and I'm blessed to know these unique and amazing individuals as well as the strong and amazing family and friends that support them in everything they do. I hope my little blog post can put a smile on their faces, at least for a day. Love you guys!
We have so many fantastic sponsors that have shown their support for Autism Awareness and you can see the complete list here: Stamping For Autism Awareness Bloghop. To participate in the hop and to see all the other participants entries, make sure to check out this link. Today, I'm hoping for Lil' Inkers Designs and Laura has generously donated a fabulous prize for this super inspiring hop. Here's the card I created for today's hop!
I wanted to create something cheerful and encouraging! Everyone deserves to have the best day ever today and every day. I started by masking and stamping a row of Modern Mandala Stamps in a cheery golden yellow. I trimmed this down and layered it on a black card base before adding a strip of black paper across the whole card to help make my sentiment pop. Next, I cut two yellow and one black "Ever" using the Ever Word Die. I layered these cuts for dimension and offset the black layer for some shadowing. Then I added some black dots with my black gel pen for some added interest. I finished off this happy card with a sentiment from Ever Word Stamps. Here's a closer look:
I hope you enjoyed my card today and I hope you'll join us on this amazing bloghop! For more information about autism, make sure you check out Autism Speaks. Here's a look at what I used for my card:
