CTS #298

Good morning and happy Thursday!!  This is a super special day for me.  My oldest, the boy who made me a mom, is 15 today.  It seems like just yesterday that he was born, scaring the crap out of his dad and I.  I can't imagine life without this awesome kid.  He's such a joy to have around and I love that we can talk, laugh, and enjoy each others company.  Happy birthday, Isaac!!!

On another fun note this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge is great AND it's a two-week challenge because of Thanksgiving next week.  So, that gives you plenty of time to play along.  Here's what I created:

I just love the simplicity of this card and our sketch.  I used the Lil' Inker Designs Brushed Plaid Stamps to add some embossed gold painted lines to my patterned paper from my favorite Christmas paper pack, First Noel.  Next, I layered that on a piece of gold paper for some shine before adding it to my card base.  I finished it off with one of the card stock cuts in the First Noel Die Cut pack popped with some foam squares.  Simple and easy!
