CTS #292

Hi, you guys!!  How are you guys?  I hope well.  I'm enjoying a little taste of Fall today after temps in the upper 80's yesterday.  This weather is totally crazy.  You know what else is crazy?  The talent of team over at CAS(E) this Sketch.  You absolutely MUST go check out the cards they created.  I'm totally inspired and hopefully you will be to.  We'd love to have you join us.  Here's the card I created for this week's sketch:

My take might be a little bit of stretch for this sketch but it was inspired by it none the less.  I started with a piece of snowflake paper that inspired the simple color scheme of this card.  Next, I opened my new goodies from Concord & 9th and got to work.  I stamped and cut the large snowflake using the Snow Flurry Bundle.  I layered that with another snowflake cut with some gold glitter paper from the Neutrals Glitter Paper Pack.  I loved the simple navy and gold with the background paper.  I trimmed down my patterned paper and added it to a navy card base before adding a sentiment from the Very Merry Sentiments set.  I'm having so much fun with these modern Christmas products that still give a nice nod to classic traditional Christmas style.  Leave it to Concord & 9th to come up with such a great balance.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for checking out my card.  I hope you'll join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch!

  1. This is fantastic Chrissy. The glittery snowflake looks amazing with the navy accents.
