CTS #275

Good morning!!  I'm sorry I had to skip out on last week's challenge.  Things got a little crazy around here and I have not had any time in the craft room.  I finally got down there yesterday and I couldn't wait to work on this new (or old depending on how you look at it) sketch.  This week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge is a retro CTS sketch and it goes WAY back to sketch number 3.  WOW!  Here's a link to the original post if you want to check it out.

Here's my new take on this sketch:

I have some older paper kits laying around and I really am wanting to use them up.  Lucky for me, I love the papers and extras.  So, I used one of them to create for this week's sketch.  I started with some constellation paper for the background and created a strip from top to bottom using two other patterned papers (one popped up over the other with foam tape).  I created the circle cut out look with my globe .  Super simple, no stamping...just cutting.  Here's a closer look:

Looking back at what I created the first time was super fun and I love this card too.  Here's my first take on this sketch:

Thanks for checking in on me and I hope to see you over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  Have a great day!

  2. Oh my, both cards are absolutely fantastic, Chrissy. Love those papers together and idea is so cool. The original card is amazing too, bright and cheerful.
