Remember how I was having a rough week last week? I swear I was behind on everything and that's not all. I noticed this morning that I posted the wrong card for the CTS #224. I was admiring all the amazing cards in the link up and then noticed that my card had nothing to do with the sketch. Well, that's because I posted my card for a future sketch instead of the one for #224. UGH! Well, I don't want you to miss out on the correct card so I'll share it after I show you my card for this week's sketch. Don't worry, I made sure to share the right card this week. He he he.
My card for this week's sketch was super simple. I used some wood grain colored pattern paper cut and layered on a navy card front. I stamped a sentiment from Penny Black called All Great Things. I cut the sentiment and layered it on another piece of navy before adding it to my card front. I had it all assembled but it felt like it needed a little something more so I colored in the "JOY" with copics. I love how it turned out and I made a few more of these is various colors. So fun! Here's a closer look:
Now for the card that I actually made for CTS #224. I bet this will make a ton more sense to you when you see it. Ha ha!
These cards was created with the Spot On stamp set found in the Foundations Box by Catherine Pooler. I used different combos of the Catherine Pooler Inks and created a ton of this design for my church. I had a blast with them!
Does that make a little more sense for CTS #224? Ha ha! Well, I hope you are having a great week and that you will come join us at CAS(E) this Sketch. I'd love to see what you create!
I love this, Chrissy!
