Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Angel's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first project uses the amazing Today & Always Greeting Die.

My first card started with this patterned paper that had a chevron of stripes on one side.  The paper got me thinking of a different way to use the Cover Up Die: Faceted.  I cut it out of this matte gold paper and glued down the negatives following the lower part of the chevron and the positive cut of the Cover Up Die: Faceted following the upper part of the chevron.  I really thought it gave the card front a cool and unique look.  Since I was running with the chevron theme, I found a coordinating chevron paper to fill the negative space (I feel like I'm saying that a bunch...ha ha!) in the Today & Always Greeting Die which was also cut from the same gold paper.  I added this to my card with some foam tape.  Here's another look of the finished card:

My final card uses one of the cutest products from this new release, the Kitty Hugger Die & Stamp Bundle, as well as the Love You Much Border Die.

I got a little crazy with the patterns on this card.  When I saw the Kitty Hugger Die & Stamp Bundle I thought it looked like he was spreading his arms out to show someone how much he loves them.  So, I started by making a pocket that I could slide my Kitty into using the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles and topping it with a layer of red and a final layer cut with the Love You Much Border Die.  I cut my kitty from grey, added some fun little accents with copics and the stamps in the Kitty Hugger Die & Stamp Bundle.  Here's a closer look at the kitty in the pocket and pulled out:

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura is giving away the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE to a lucky commenter during the new release hop.  You have until January 16th at 11:30PM EST to comment.  The winner could be you.  I hope you enjoyed our new release!  We love sharing these awesome products with you!  Be sure to keep hopping, here's the list:
