It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today! I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store. Hopefully, you checked out all of Karen's amazing creations before hopping here. If not of it you get lost along the hop you can always find your spot by going to the Lil' Inker Blog. For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!
First up, I made this cute little birthday card using The Little Things Stamps, The Little Things Dies, and the Fringe Scalloped Circles Dies.
Boy, did I have fun with The Little Things Stamps. I really wanted to create a robin like bird so I layered my ink colors on the bird stamp before stamping him. I think it turned out great! The texture these stamps have is awesome! I love the little tick marks and the wings...LOVE! I also stamped my leaves and flower with various ink colors layered on my stamps. Next, I cut the images using The Little Things Dies. Now, I had these adorable images but no idea what I was going to do with them. Ha ha! I found this woodgrain paper and decided to let another paper peek through a hole that I cut using the Fringe Scalloped Circles Dies. After playing around, I decided to have the hole in the corner of the card. I them wrapped some patterned vellum stamped with a sentiment from The Little Things Stamps around the card before layering on my bird and floral branch. Here's a closer look:
I saw this cute jar at Target and then noticed the fun ribbon and twine. I knew it was meant for a project for this release. I filled my jar with teas for immune boosting and cold care since I know teachers get exposed to EVERYTHING! Next, I got to work on this tag by cutting a Fringe Scalloped Circle from some school dictionary patterned paper. I thought this would help focus attention on my sentiment created using the Everyday Word Tag Die cut from blackboard handwriting paper and the Teacher Word Die cut from red. I layered these with my apple stamped and cut with Teacher Talk Stamps and Apple Pieces Die Set on the tag. The yellow twine was perfect to hold my tag tied to the top of the jar with the alphabet ribbon. Here's a closer look:
I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop. You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop. It could be you. I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects. See you then!
