CTS #129 and Paper Crafter's Library

Happy Thursday!  I know I say this EVERY Thursday but today is going to be nuts!  I start with running my oldest to tennis camp, picking him up early to go to drum lessons, then off to piano lessons, I have an appt to get my foot checked after that, and we finish off the day with a Tball and baseball game.  I'm tired just typing that!  Ha ha.  Not only that but I have two things to share with you today on the blog.  First up, I'm featured over at the Paper Crafter's Library today!  I love this blog and hope you'll go check them out.  I'll give you a little sneak at my card...

You'll have to go check out my feature to see the rest!  ;)

Finally, I get to share my CAS(E) this Sketch card with you.  I actually had a ton of fun with this one.  I wasn't sure where to go at first but then I looked at it as simply having something in the corner and a vertical sentiment.  That opened up tons of option and here's what I decided to do.

I decided to trim a piece of the card front off to give a peek at the stamped imaged behind.  This gave me my corner image.  I used some adorable fruit from a Studio Calico kit and colored them with copics.  I wanted them to be really bold and a black card front really helped them to pop.  Luckily, this same stamp set had a vertical sentiment so I embossed that in white on my card front.

Simple and straightforward but fun all at the same time.  I hope you will check me out today on the Paper Crafter's Library and join us for the new sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Now, on to the crazy!  Ha ha!  Have a great day!
