CTS #91

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and those that had a holiday weekend, I hope you did something super fun!  We had a lovely weekend full of fun, family, food, and fishing!  Our family gathered at a local park and spent some time hanging out together and enjoying the gorgeous weather.  We really lucked out that during a weekend full of rain, we got a break in the rain for all of Labor Day.  I thought I'd share this cute picture from the day with my littlest learning how to fish from one of his VERY patient cousins.  Isn't it cute?


We had a great day and I realized that we need a canoe.  Yup!  This girl LOVES to canoe and with three boys, the adventures could be too numerous to even fathom.  So, I'm on the hunt for a canoe and I can hardly wait to get one and get it in the water.  Now wait, I'm supposed to be showing you guys something today, right?  Ha ha!  Without further ado, the sketch for the week at CAS(E) this Sketch.


Isn't this the cutest sketch?  Almost as cute as my picture above...ALMOST.  ;)  I had a great time with it and I can't wait to share my card.


Again, I broke out my Studio Calico kits (Sandlot card and Sandlot PL) for this card and I LOVE the combo of elements.  This card just sort of fell together and I love the final result.

    Oh my...I love that sweet photo, so cute and how nice to have a cousin that has that much patience. And your card is just as sweet. I love your stars and the sweet words too. Enjoy your week!

    okay...ADORABLE pic.
    I bet you'd have so many adventures with the boys in a canoe. The only time I went, I seemed to go around in circles...couldn't seem to get anywhere..LOL.
    Your card...LOVE your card and I just pinned it.

      Amy, you are too funny! My husband won't even step foot in a canoe. He won't go out on anything that floats on any "big vat of death". Can you tell he doesn't like the water? Ha ha!

      Isn't it the cutest paper ever? It was in the Sandlot Card Kit from Studio Calico. I'm kicking myself for not ordering another pack of the paper. Maybe I just need another whole kit. ;)
