Happy Thursday morning everyone! I do hope you all are enjoying some nice springy weather. We had a gorgeous day at the lake yesterday biking and playing. We met some friends and just had a great time. It was so much fun that I almost missed my 5:30 HIIT workout! Luckily, I made it just in time but, boy, was I tired from all the sun and wind of the day. I was hoping for a nice nights sleep since I was sure all the boys were tuckered out too. Unfortunately, Micah (my 4 year old) was up several times last night with his nose all stuffy. I hate allergies and interrupted sleep. Poor little dude and poor mommy. I'm typing this in sort of a sleep deprived haze so I apologize if it doesn't make much sense. Luckily, today is
CAS(E) this Sketch day and nothing can put a spring in my step more than that. I just love Thursdays! Are you ready for the sketch and my card?
I used some wafer board from
WPlus9 for my background (LOVE this stuff). I stamped some shapes from a
Studio Calico set with Versamark to represent the squares. I finished it off with a sentiment from my new set from
Winnie & Walter and some fun sparkly stars and dots. LOVE IT! This is a super fun sketch and I have been making cards left and right using it. I hope you will too and I can't wait to see your creations.
Make sure to stop by
CAS(E) this Sketch to see all the other fabulous cards from the design team and to play along. See you there!
Fab card, love the tone on tone stamping with the pop of gold! (hope you catch on your sleep real soon)
