CTS #58

Happy Thursday!  Are you guys ready for another round of fun at CAS(E) this Sketch?  Well, you are in for some SERIOUS fun.  Not only is the sketch awesome, courtesy of N@ Ali, but you have 3 weeks to work on it.  That's right!  CTS is taking a little break for the holidays but we didn't want to leave you without inspiration.  So we decided to leave you with a sketch to make a card or 3 over the holiday break.  We do hope you will be SO inspired that you will want to crank out a few cards and share them.  Ready for your inspiration?

Isn't it great?  So many different things you can do with this one.  Here's what I did:

I stamped this super cute image using Lawn Fawn's On the Mend stamp set.  I colored it in using copics and I just love how cheery it turned out!  I chose this chevron paper from a Studio Calico card kit as my background because I liked the movement it gave to my project.  It sort of forces the eye down to the focal point.  The little squiggle was a random border sticker that I had purchased long ago at Joann's but never used.  It's just perfect for this card!  Finish it off with the sentiment and I think you have a great little cheery card that would make anyone feel a bit better.  ;)

I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch and will join us at CAS(E) this Sketch for our challenge!  We'd love to see what you create.  The boys and I are already gearing up for a fun Christmas and FINALLY got the tree decorated this week.  Things have been super busy with my father in law moving and just the general busy feeling of the season.  Here are a couple pics of the boys creating the prettiest tree yet!
