Most of this card was made using elements from my Studio Calico card kits and the Project Life kits. I must admit, I love getting a little refreshing for my stash each month. Anyway, you should have seen the first iteration of this card. Instead of using shine mist to make the splatter, I used red mist to match the heart. The first thing my husband said when he saw it was, "Why do you want to kill your one and only?" He told me the red splatter looked like blood and after he said that, it's all I could see. So, I changed it. Hope you like my take and will join us this week!

CTS #35
Hi everyone and happy 4th! We are heading out to pick raspberries and blueberries this morning. I'm looking forward to it and I might just throw in a few cherries for the fun of it. ;) This week's sketch is from me and while I like the sketch, I struggled with the card. Leave it to me to make things difficult for...well, me. Hmmm. Anyway, I hope you'll be inspired and come play along at CAS(E) this Sketch. We'd love to have you!

ReplyDeletelove the sentiment with the chipboard - and the panel of arrows!
ReplyDeleteLol, I haven't bought any red mist for that very reason. And to be honest Chrissy I really can't see the struggle from here, your card is fabulous, such a great mix of papers!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! I also always ask my husband what he thinks about my cards before I put a finish touch.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog!
Your card is amazing, love the pop of color, I don't blame you with the red mist, I would probably feel the same =)
