Oops...Too Late.

Don't you hate when you make a card and you have every intention of sharing it in a challenge but then you totally forget?  Well, that is totally what I did.  I made this card inspired by Retrosketches #59 which was inspired by this awesome card by Laurie.  I made it in plenty of time, I photographed it in plenty of time, I even edited the photo in plenty of time, but did I post it in plenty of time?  Nope.  Doh!  (Yes, I totally just sounded like Homer Simpson.  Well, maybe, if Homer Simpson was a girl but you get the point.)

Anyway, no sense in letting a perfectly good card go to waste, right?  So, here it is in all it's glory.  Wow, what a build up.  ;)

Stamps:  Natural Beauties (PTI)
Die/Cut:  Spiral Notebook Page (PTI), Layered Flower (Lori Whitlock), Font Cut On Cameo
Ink:  French Roast (Amuse)
Paper:  Woodgrain (Amuse), Hibiscus Burst, Melon Berry, Simply Chartreuse (PTI), White (Neenah)
Misc:  3D Foam Shapes (Scrapbook Adhesives), Silhouette Cameo, Pearl (Basic Grey)

  2. Such a pretty card and a good reminder that Mother's Day is right around the corner! As for the "oops, I'm late" situations, yes indeed, I've had several - and just like you, I have the 'assignment done' but whoosshhh, completely lose track of the due date! What's most embarrassing is the GIANT list I have on the fridge, reminding me! So glad you posted anyway! Thank you, also, for commenting on my Hugs CAS(E) card. Your warm words certainly brighten my day, and keep my motivation sparked. Have a wonderful Tuesday!!

  3. Such a shame that you didn't make the challenge deadline - this card is a stunner! That's the most irritating situation isn't it; you've already done the hard work by making the card (and taking pictures and editing in your case!) and then the post part just doesn't happen! Doh is right!

I'm glad you decided to share it with us anyway though as it's a real beaut ;)
