Retro Sketch #28

Today's card uses some paper and embellishments that I've been hoarding.  Do you ever do that?  You find a collection you REALLY love and just HAVE to have and then you like it so much you don't use it?  I have that problem with pattern paper especially and I'm trying to start using some that I have amassed over the years.  Today's collection is Crate Paper's Story Teller.  I'll admit that on first glance, it doesn't seem like my style at all but something about it sucked me right in.  I blame it on the chipboard accent stickers.  That bicycle won me over.  I decided that it was time to use the collection and I'd start with the Retro Sketch for the week...which is super cool, by the way!

I was pleasantly surprised what came out of me after working with the sketch and the collection.  Not as simple as I usually go but I really love how it turned out!

Stamps:  Picture It (Avery Elle)
Inks:  Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Dies & Cuts:  Double Ended Banner (PTI), Picture It Digicut (Avery Elle)
Paper:  Story Teller Collection (Crate Paper), Vintage Cream (PTI)
Misc:  Foam Tape (Scotch), Chipboard Flower (Crate Paper)
