It's CAS(E) this Sketch day!!!  Woo hoo!!  Not only that it's Tag You're It! and CAS(E) this Sketch day.  It's better than Rex Manning Day!  ;)  Yes, I'm from the Empire Records generation.  Ha ha!  I'm super excited to share today's sketch with you because I had such a blast making a card that used the sketch and a tag.  As I have said before, I'm not a tag person but I'm slowly warming up to them.  You can read more details on this joint challenge over on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog and find out just how to play along.  Now I'm ready to show you the sketch and my card!

I decided to use some wooden tags that I had and hang them from a wooden heart that I colored with my Wink of Stella gold pen.  The sentiment is embossed and is from Winnie & Walter.  "Love" is stamped on a 4x6 journaling card that fades from a light yellow to white.  I inked the card base to give the card a pop of color and added my trimmed journaling card with some foam tape for a bit of extra dimension. 

Remember when I said I was ready for school to be over so we could have a relaxing summer?  I'm not sure where my relaxing summer has gone because I ended up with a crazy busy summer that isn't letting up anytime soon!  Anyone else feeling this way?  I hate to say it but I'm almost ready to get back into the routine of school.  I already started planning our schedule and getting the lessons for the first week ready.  We won't actually be starting until September because my oldest is going to visit my parents in New York for a couple weeks in August.  He is totally thrilled to have some individual time with his grandparents.  That's just the sort of kid he is.  He loves his brothers but he loves his alone time too.  I TOTALLY get that.  They are going to have a blast.  He even gets to go to Canada...I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN TO CANADA!  Lucky kid!  ;)
