Lil' Inker Designs December Release Day #2

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today!  I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  Hopefully, you checked out all of Amy's blog amazing creations before hopping here.  If not, make sure you check it out and if you get lost along the hop you can always find your spot by going to the Lil' Inker Blog.  For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!

For my second card of this release, I just couldn't help using the adorable Good Cheer Stamps and Good Cheer Die Set again.  This time I paired them with the new Cover Up Die: Buffalo Plaid for a fun card!

I had so much fun creating different color combos of plaid with the Cover Up Die: Buffalo Plaid.  It was super hard to pick just one but this icy combo of teal and turquoise worked just right with the super cute penguins from Good Cheer Stamps.  I colored my penguins with colored pencil and then cut them with the Good Cheer Die Set.  I set these cuties to the side and started creating my card front with my fun plaid as the base.  I added some white snowflakes using the Snowflake Dies around a border I created with a purply and gray layered Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die.  I added a sentiment on a strip of vellum and then added my penguin friends.  The card is finished off with some sequins and pearls.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for looking at my project today!  Thanks for checking me out and don't forget about our giveaway!

Lil' Inker Designs October Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Amy's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first card uses the super cool Peace, Love & Joy Stamps.

I had so much fun with this set and I just love how the letter nest into each other.  I started with a black card base and embossed the different stamps in the Peace, Love & Joy Stamps in white, black, and gold.   Next, I die cut some Snowflake Dies in gold and white and arranged them on the edge of my card.  This card was really almost too easy!  Here's a closer look:

My final project uses the Rowdy Reindeer Stamps and Rowdy Reindeer Die.

I made this fun Rudolph tag by cutting some plaid paper with the Anytime Tags Die Set 2.  I then added the "Oh Deer" with the adorable Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set.  I cut a piece of white and lined the top with a puffy sticker border before stamping the sentiment from Rowdy Reindeer Stamps.  Finally, I stamped my deer and cut him with the Rowdy Reindeer Die.  Once he was cute out, I colored him with copics and added a glitter red nose.  Here's a spooky close up:

Full Force For Christmas Cards!

It's getting to be that time of year again.  The time of year where I realize that I don't have all my Christmas cards made yet.  :)  So, it's time to get busy and luckily, I've had tons of awesome inspiration on my desk lately.  Slowly but surely, the fun products are turning into cards for my family and friends.

The card I'm sharing today uses some fun Lil' Inker Designs products paired with more fun stuff from a gorgeous holiday Clique Kit that I ordered.  Here's my creation:

I started by making a snowflake patterned paper using the snowflakes in the Rustic Christmas stamps.  The I used the Border Builders die set to cut a fun border allowing the plaid to show at the bottom of the card.  Next, I cut some snowflakes out of various papers using the Snowflake Dies.  I layered the snowflakes along with a sticker from my Clique Kit and a banner I created using the Oh Deer Christmas Stamp Set and cut out by hand.  I finished the card off with some more enamel dots, sequins, and more stickers from my kit.  Here's a closer look:

I hope you enjoyed my card today and I can't wait to share a new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch with you tomorrow!  Have a great Wednesday!

Lil' Inker Designs December New Release Blog Hop Day 2!

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today!  I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  You should have come here from the amazing Lisa's blog.  Hopefully, you can still see after she blinded you with her awesomeness!  If you didn't, don't miss out on anything and make sure you start at the beginning of the hop by going to the Lil' Inker Blog.  For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!

First up, I made a cute card using the new So Prickly Paper Pack, Boxed Up Thank You Greeting, and the amazing Cover Up Die: Diamond Lace.

How gorgeous is the Cover Up Die: Diamond Lace?  I think I gasped when I pulled it out of the package the first time and then again when I cut it for this card.  I cut it out of a mint card stock which I then layered over a green card base that would match the new So Prickly Paper Pack.  This paper is TOO fun and full of cute cacti but also fun coordinating prints and patterns.  You are going to love it.  I cut strips from two of the fun papers and layered that with a coral color card stock to make a fun strip across my card front.  Next, I cut the new Boxed Up Thank You Greeting from the same coral color and layered it on some polka dot paper.  I wanted to make the greeting stand out just a bit more so I added some white dot accents with a gel pen.

Sticking with the thank you theme, my next card uses Dual Dotted Circles and the With Gratitude Word Die.

This card totally started with the background.  I just fell in love with this paper and knew it would make a fun winter card.  So, I tore a piece of patterned vellum to add a focal point before layering a glittery Dual Dotted Circle with some fun snowflakes cut using the Snowflakes Dies.  Next, I cut the new With Gratitude Die from a light snowy blue and layered it with another cut in a darker color to shadow the first cut.  I added a puffy heart and some enamel dots and sequins to finish off the card.

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects.  See you then!
