Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products. Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Amy's blog. I kept my final card for this release nice and simple using the Hand Drawn Thankfulness Stamps, Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die, and the previously released Deco Edge Border Dies and Dual Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I wanted to keep this card simple and make the sentiment from Hand Drawn Thankfulness Stamps the star. So I stamped it on a Dual Stitched Rectangle that was going to be front and center on this card. I layered that on a piece of vellum that I tore just on the bottom side. Next, I created the background using the same color card base as I had stamped my sentiment on and layering a navy piece of paper and an orange piece that had been given some texture with the Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die and a fun edge with Deco Edge Border Dies. It gave just the right amount of color and interest without stealing the show from the Hand Drawn Thankfulness Stamps. A couple of hearts to finish things off and I had a nice simple thank you card. Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day #1

Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! Here's one of my favorite cards that I made using the super cute and fun Cake Party Stamps, Cake Party Dies, Quilted Stitched Stepping Stone Die, and the previously released Instant Camera Die.

I started this card with the background. I wanted to have a rainbowish look so I cut strips of this fun paper and layered it on the background. Next, I started making my shaker by cutting the Instant Camera Die from gray card stock and adding a little texture with the Quilted Stitched Stepping Stone Die. I added my foam and filled my shaker with some fun coordinating elements before closing the back with a piece of light pink paper stamped with a sentiment from Cake Party Stamps. I positioned my shaker on the card front and got to work on my animals from Cake Party Stamps and cut with Cake Party Dies. When I got them all colored and added to the card, I finished it all off with a sentiment from Cake Party Stamps on a banner I hand cut and added an enamel heart for extra fun. Here's a closer look:

My second card for today sticks to the birthday theme and features the new Happy Birthday To You Word Die and Dual Dotted Circles released prior to today.

Again, this card started with the paper. I loved the hearts and I wanted to show off the Happy Birthday To You Word Die in a very simple design. So, I cut it from some gray card stock, and layered it on a Dual Dotted Circles cut from vellum so it wouldn't block too much of the background paper. I popped the Happy Birthday To You Word Die with some foam and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I ended up trimming it just a tad to get a small border of the gray card base.
