Good morning from Disney World!! I'm on vacation with my family and
we are having a blast. Funny thing is, I know that you too can have a
blast. All you have to do is join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch for
this week's challenge. I really do think you'll have a blast with it!
Here's what I created:
I used a few PTI stamps and dies on this card on some adorable gray polk a dotted paper. It was pretty simple to layer it all and with a few enamel dots, it looked finished. Then I decided it needed a little something else. I trimmed the bottom and added a bit of glitter tape. Tada! Here's a closeup:
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you'll join us this week at CAS(E) this Sketch!

Chrissy's Christmas Catch Up #3
Boy, did I have a productive weekend! I hope you did as well. I'm super excited to share the cards I've been whipping up while taking advantage of some serious crafty mojo. Here's hoping that sticks with me for awhile! Ha ha!
Here's one of my favorite cards from the weekend of creating.
I will say, this was NOT an easy card to photograph but it is spectacular in person. I used my Misti (for the first time ever...amazing!) to line up and stamp Child, Prince, and Savior from Neat & Tangled's Christmas Journaling stamp set in VersaMark before embossing it with Stampendous Jeweled Gold embossing powder. Then I positioned Jesus in the space left on my Misti and removed the other words to stamp it in black to help it pop. I finished it off with a sunburst from Papertery Ink's Nativity Silhouettes Stamp set stamped in Delicata Gold. I layered this on a black card base and, ta da, simple but elegant. Yup, I'm TOTALLY loving these Christmas Journaling stamp set. Way to go Neat & Tangled!
I hope you guys enjoyed my creation! I can't wait to share some more. I hope I can see some of your crafty creations! See you soon. I think I better get addressing some envelopes or Christmas will be here already. Ha ha.

CTS #146
It's Thursday again and that means time for another CAS(E) this Sketch challenge! My house is feeling a bit empty without my parents here so I was happy for the distraction of making a card using our sketch. I also had laundry to take my mind off things but that's not nearly as fun. ;) Here's what I came up with for the sketch:
I started my card with some patterned paper as a background then I stamped my flowers from the Mini Blooms stamp set after inking it up and stamping it off on another paper first to get a washed out look. I then filled in some of the blooms with a red ink to make them pop. I embossed my sentiment from Graceful Greetings in black. I finished it off with some shiny sequins.
I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch! I'll see you next week! ;)
