It's Wednesday again and I'm coming at you with another look at a card made with some awesome stuff that I have yet to use. Today's product is the Concord and 9th Sunshine Turnabout. I love the idea of these and I have bought several but haven't used a single one. They scare me, simple as that. I feel completely clueless when it comes to using them so it was time to bite the bullet and go for it!
It's almost graduation time again and I know I'm going to need a bunch of cards in all the different school colors around us. I figured this was the perfect way to add those colors without being too over the top. Here's what I created:
I broke out my Misti for this job and started by getting everything positioned. I was super happy with my first go but quickly got confused because I apparently hadn't cut my paper to the right size...oops! I pressed on and just lined it up each time I flipped my card stock. I think my eyeball did a pretty good job and when I added the die cut "congrats" it covered many mistakes. I'm thinking that I might invest in the positioner thingy or these turnabouts because they really do make cool backgrounds. Here's a closer look:
