Another week is starting and this week is starting off more like summer than spring but I'm not going to complain since we got little flurries yesterday. My husband has been busy planting and I just love this time of year. Somehow even with all of the farm work to be done, I see him more when he's in a tractor. I suppose it's because I'm the go-for and run stuff to and from the field. It's just nice to to get out and about and enjoy the beauty of Iowa. Luckily, in between all the running, I had some time to make a card for the MFT Color Challenge. I hope you like it and will come play along!
I started my card with a timber colored card base and layered on a striped sea patterned paper with a strip of pink below. Then I got to work stamping and cutting my flowers created using an older MFT set called Fall Florals. It is probably one of my favorite floral sets and I love the look of the layered flowers. I layered them even more with some foam tape. I used some alphabet stickers to create a sentiment and finished it all of with some pearls. Here's another look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card. I hope you will join me in playing along at MFT Color Challenge.
