Good afternoon! Sorry I'm late. Things have been pretty unreal around here this month and I have been struggling to keep up with everything. I'm not the best at sharing things but our family has been hit pretty hard by COVID-19 this month and while yesterday marked our last day of quarantine it also means that it is the first day that we can plan my sister-in-law's funeral. It has been a rough one and, if you have a minute or think about it later, please say a little prayer for my brother-in-law and his 3 kids. While I can't imagine not having such an amazing woman around, I can't for the life of me imagine the pain they are feeling right now. Losing someone and then having to isolate from everyone who loves you and supports you in these difficult times just makes everything so much harder. Tomorrow we get to celebrate the amazing woman we all loved and I am thankful we will finally be able to hug each other. I made my card for this week's sketch thinking about all the crazy that has happened and how, through it all, I know one thing for certain that God loves us even in the hard times. This will work well for one of the Confirmation students when we get to celebrate their accomplishment. Here's my card:

I started with a black card base and embossed "God" in white. Using a cloud stencil, I blended in my clouds with distress oxide ink. Next, I added the "Loves You" stamped with black under the God and finished the whole thing off with an enamel heart. Here's a closer look:
