CTS #312

Good morning and I hope your week is going better than mine!  I've been dealing with a sinus infection and being me, I was too stubborn to go to the doctor until yesterday.  I'm always so certain that things are going to clear up and then they just get worse.  Thank goodness I have a hubby, mom, and friends that know I'm a butt head and tell me when I need to stop being stubborn and go get checked out.  I have three doses of antibiotic in me now and I'm actually functional enough to type up my post for today.  Woo hoo!  I hope that I might actually get some stuff done today because when I'm sick, the house tends to get turned upside down as I'm sure all you moms understand.  Ha ha!

Luckily, I had my card for this week's challenge already finished so I didn't have to try to create it in my feverish state.  Who knows what I would have come up with.  Ha ha!  Here's what I created for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.

I have been making sympathy cards like crazy lately because I have actually had ideas for them.  I figure you have to take advantage of it when the inspiration comes.  So, for today's card I tried to keep it light and simple.  I used a cute set from Waffle Flower called A Bunch and stamped the cute daisies all over the bottom of my card filling them in with a VERY light gray and yellow centers.  Next, I stamped my sentiment from Neat & Tangled's No Words stamp set.  I stamped a portion of the sentiment on a light gray card stock with a touch of yellow at the bottom and popped it up with foam tape.  I added a little glossy accents to the flower centers and was finished.  Here's a closer look:
