Lil' Inker Designs October Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Caly's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first card on this final day uses Blossoms & Banners Autumn Stamps, Blossoms & Banners Autumn Dies, and Cover Up Die: Diagonal Plaid.

I started this card by embossing an image from Blossoms & Banners Autumn Stamps in gold on some kraft cardstock.  I liked how it looked, especially after I colored it lightly with some copics.  So, I cut it out using the Blossoms & Banners Autumn Dies but I wanted a little more with a twist so I stamped the image again with black and colored it in before flipping it and tucking it behind the gold embossed image.  A little foam tape gave it some extra dimension.  Next, I went about building the background.  I started with one of my favorite ways to add texture, the Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain.  I decided that the Cover Up Die: Diagonal Plaid should be set on the diagonal and cover just a portion of the card.  It added such a fun look!  then to bring in the black, I added a strip of black with a touch of rose gold.  Some sequins finished it off just like the fun fall leaves!  Here's a closer look:

My final card uses the new Peace On Earth Word Die, a touch of the Classic Christmas Stamps, and has a little plaid thing going on too!

When I was coloring the images from Classic Christmas Stamps, I just couldn't help cut color all of them.  Well, then I just had to use them!  So, I made another card with a little more modern twist.  I started with some plaid and layered two cuts of the Dual Dotted Circles Dies in different colors.  Then I added the gorgeous Peace On Earth Word Die in bright white which I coated in glossy accents.  A simple bit of Classic Christmas, was just the right touch.  Here's a closer look:
