First up, I created this gift card holder using the super fun new To Go Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Die and the Coffee Talk 2 Stamps.
Can you tell I was really into kraft this release? I just couldn't resist a black, kraft, and mustardish color scheme...especially when I saw this heart sticker in my stash! I grabbed a fun dotted piece of my patterned kraft paper and cut just the cup portion of my To Go Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Die. That way I didn't use a whole bunch of that paper when it would look just as nice for the back to be regular old kraft. Speaking of, I cut the whole long cup to fold from normal kraft card stock and then attached the patterned front and lid to the base. Next, I created a collar with some black card stock and a sentiment from Coffee Talk 2 Stamps embossed in the center. I love how the collar not only completes to look of the to go cup but also holds everything secure for gifting. I added my gift card and then decided I may want to hang this from a bag or present. So, I poked a hole in the corner and added some fun corresponding twine. All that was left was to add a gift card! Here's a closer look:
Coffee always makes me feel super and that is why I love this final card using the Super Coffee Die & Stamp Bundle.
This card makes me think of all the super hero cartoons of my childhood. He's the cutest super coffee I have ever seen! I found this paper that had hello in a bunch of different fonts and colors and it made me think of the bang and bam effects in the old Batman TV show. So, I went with it as my inspiration. I added a strip of green patterned paper to give my sentiment a nice spot to be read and my Super Coffee Die & Stamp Bundle a spot to really shine. I stamped, colored, glossified a cape, and cut out this good morning maker and decided he needed a good bam behind him. Luckily, the Seasonal Stars Dies Set was the perfect shape to give this card a real punch. I got everything on the card front but still felt it needed something. Then it hit me, it needed some softening up to stick with the cartoon feel. Like a flash, I grabbed the Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles and softened the edges making this a super fun card. Here's another peek:
