CTS #264

Good morning and I hope your week is going better than mine!  I've been dealing with a sinus infection and being me, I was too stubborn to go to the doctor until yesterday.  I'm always so certain that things are going to clear up and then they just get worse.  Thank goodness I have a hubby, mom, and friends that know I'm a butt head and tell me when I need to stop being stubborn and go get checked out.  I have three doses of antibiotic in me now and I'm actually functional enough to type up my post for today.  Woo hoo!  I hope that I might actually get some stuff done today because when I'm sick, the house tends to get turned upside down as I'm sure all you moms understand.  Ha ha!

Luckily, I had my card for this week's challenge already finished so I didn't have to try to create it in my feverish state.  Who knows what I would have come up with.  Ha ha!  Here's what I created for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.

In case you can't tell, I took the sketch extremely literal and used my watercolor pends to create my blocks of color.  I added a simple sentiment and that's it.  I think this would be a great card for men and you could change up the colors a million different ways.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out our post at CAS(E) this Sketch!  Have a great day!

  1. So classy, yet laid-back. I love it!

  2. I was so tempted to just copy your card for the sketch when I saw it in our post — it’s very wonderful!

  3. I so want to try this! I think it's a great "guy" card and like Leigh I almost copied it.....but I restrained myself. Hope you're feeling better!

  4. Glad you are feeling better! Nothing worse than being laid up that way. And that's a great man-card. The watercolor blocks are bright, cheerful, and fun!

Thanks so much for commenting! I cherish each and every comment on my blog!
