Good morning!! Guess what? I can see some grass in my yard and the I hope it stays that way. Thanks to a few warm days, much of the snow has melted off and that makes me SO happy! Especially because my middle guy fractured the top part of his humerus and I worry about him slipping on the ice. Of course, it certainly doesn't seem to be slowing him down any. We are in a waiting game to see if it will heal on its own and will hopefully know more in March. He's going nuts not being able to do gymnastics. I told him he could go and do everything one handed and, thankfully, he knew I was joking and didn't take me up on it. Kids! They always keep you on your toes.
Speaking of kids, my oldest is driving AND working! What??? When did he get old enough for all of this? We even got his high school course worksheet the other day and I'm in total denial that I'm going to have a high schooler next year. How in the world did that happen? So, I've decided I'm sticking my head in the sand and pretending it isn't. Oh....look at all the pretty sketches and cards over at CAS(E) this Sketch. Yup, that's what I'm concentrating on for now. ;) Here's my take on this week's sketch:
I used some sticky notes to mask off a space for my circles and then used some Catherine Pooler Inks to stamp the circles from The Stamp Market's Patterned Polka Dot Stamp Set. I finished it off with the perfect sentiment in a circle also from The Stamp Market in the Best Ever Greetings Stamp Set. Super simple and one layer! Can't beat that. Here's a close up:
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you over at CAS(E) this Sketch! You won't want to miss it!

ReplyDeleteChrissy this is such a cheerful take on the sketch, I love those colors! I hope your son heals quickly-it's so hard to keep them down at that age!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card, Chrissy! I love the colors you've chosen to work with and the way your circles overlap so perfectly. Fun card!
