CTS #255

Good morning you guys!  I hate to be short this morning but my back is acting up and I'm trying not to sit for too long.  However, I did want to get on and share a card I created for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I think you will have a great time with this sketch and I hope you'll come join us!  Here's my take:

I just love how this turned out!  I used my new obsession the Concord & 9th Fill-In Blooms Bundle to create the floral for this card.  I stamped a black background and then used a light pink for the focal flower with a slightly darker pink in the center and the black for the central poofy bit.  The other flowers and berries are darker shades that see to fall in a similar family to the flower colors.  I added a soft pink stripe to my black and white striped card base and finished it with a strip of black embossed with the hello sentiment from Bits & Pieces.  Lastly, I added my flower with some foam tape and the card was finished.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this week's challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Have a great day!

  2. There's nothing more appealing than black and white stripes - your added bit of pink really connected it to your beautiful C&9th bouquet! so pretty, Chrissy!
