Lil' Inker Designs June Release Day #1

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team.  It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter!  So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

My first card uses the new Jar of Flowers Stamps, Jar of Flowers Dies, and Hi Word Die.

I was playing with the new Jar of Flowers Stamps and got a little crazy stamping and arranging flowers cut with Jar of Flowers Dies around my jar image.  I came up with an arrangement I liked, but didn't like all the white space around it so, I grabbed my Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies and cut a frame around my image.  Next I found some plaid paper, which I also cut with a Dual Dotted Rectangles Die and layered on a black card front.  I wrapped it with a piece of glitter tape that matched my flowers.  I finished it all off with a nice bold sentiment created with the Hi Word Die.   Here's another peek:

Next up, I just couldn't resist playing with the Jar of Flowers Stamps and Jar of Flowers Dies again.  I paired it with the new Cover Up Die: Diamond Chevron.

I stamped this image using Jar of Flowers Stamps, Jar of Flowers Dies, and Zig Clean Color pens.  I colored various colors on the stamp, added a little water, and smooshed it on my paper.  I love the soft look it gave.  I cut my image out of the water color paper with a Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles.  I layered it on a black piece of paper, trimmed it to leave just a slim border and then rounded the corners to try to match the die cut layer.  Then I layered it on a paper that I embossed with the new Cover Up Die: Diamond Chevron.  I then cut my card with the largest Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles and I love the finished look.  Here's a closer look:

  3. What beautiful cards! I was very pleased to see this blog hop as I haven't seen this company before. Coming from Australia I don't have as much choice in scrapping resources. Can't wait to get my hands on some of these. Thank you for the great inspiration.
