Lil' Inker Designs June New Release Day #2

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today!  I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  Hopefully, you checked out all of Amy's amazing creations before hopping here.  If not of it you get lost along the hop you can always find your spot by going to the Lil' Inker Blog.  For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!

My first card uses the Cover Up Die: Diamond Chevron,  the Whoops Stamp Set, and the Whoops Word Die.

I have no idea what made me think cactus when I saw the new Whoops Stamp Set and Whoops Word Die, but that is exactly where my mind went.  What better to pair with a cactus that some cool South West like patterns?  I grabbed my trusty Tribal Chic Stamp Set and got to work stamping a border across this piece of stone cardstock cut with Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles.  Next, I got to work on my cactus centerpiece using images from the So Prickly Stamp Set.  I masked and layered my images and trimmed them out by hand.  Next, I got to work on my sentiment.  I layered three cuts of the new Whoops Word Die to get some extra dimension and then added strips of words to finish off my sentiment using stamps from both So Prickly and the Whoops Stamp Set.  Here's a closer look:

Next up, I used the adorable new I'll Be Brief Stamps and I'll Be Brief Dies to create this fun card:

The adorable little underwear in I'll Be Brief Stamps just screamed background to me.  I got to work stamping them on fun papers and cutting them with the I'll Be Brief Dies.  I layered my colorful undies on this star paper cut with a die from the Silly Stitched Die Set.  I also using one to add some fun to my black card base before adding my panel.  I created a border with a shape from Long & Skinny Rectangles and stamped/embossed my sentiment from I'll Be Brief Stamps in the middle.  I finished it off with my copic colored croc and a bunch of black enamel dots.  Here's a closer look:

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura is giving away the ENTIRE RELEASE to one lucky commenter.  It could be you.  I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects.  See you then!

Chrissy Larson <---Yup, that's me!!!
