Good morning! I see sunshine out my window this morning while I'm drinking my coffee and it makes me smile. I hope you are all having a great morning as well. We have another fun sketch today at CAS(E) this Sketch and I had a great time with it. However, I tried three or four times to color my stamped image and it just wasn't what I was wanting. I ended up leaving it black and white but I think it totally works for this sketch. What do you think:
I used this gorgeous floral image from Concord and 9th but couldn't for the life of me color it the way I had pictured it in my head. Don't you hate when that happens. Luckily, I love it just like it is. :) I added a simple black banner with just a touch of glitter to add some sparkle and color. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and popped the banner up with some foam tape. Simple!
Thanks so much for checking out my card today and I hope you'll join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch!
Simple and gorgeous! Love it black and white.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The black and white is so elegant!
ReplyDeleteI agree your card is elegant and looks great in black and white. The little touch of sparkle and colour is just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteThank you a zillion times over for leaving these lovely flowers black and white, because I, too, have challenges with colouring...especially an image as pretty as this! Elegant and sophisticated!
ReplyDeleteI received your note about guest designing and yes, please! I'd love to do so! Here's my address: cmayne@shaw.ca Looking forward to hearing from you!
