Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #1

Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Angel's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter! So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog. Now for the fun!

As soon as I saw the Brushed Script Valentine Word Dies, I couldn't wait to get them cut out! For this card, I paired them with the new Love You More Stamps and the Love You More Hearts & Balloons Dies.

I started with a piece of white cardstock cut with one of the rectangles in the Silly Stitched Die Set. Next, I created a background using one of the the string stamps from the Love You More Stamps. I layered this piece on a fun black and white patterned paper with X's and O's. I cut a black piece of cardstock with a large circle from the Silly Stitched Die Set and used that to ground my focal images. I cut a couple hearts out of patterned and colored paper using the Love You More Hearts & Balloons Dies and stamped one with a heart image and sentiment from Love You More Stamps before layering them with a cool arrow I had and a layered Brushed Script Valentine Word. I finished it off with a little enamel heart. Here's another peek:

Next up, another card using the Brushed Script Valentine Word Dies. This time I paired it with the new Fringe Scalloped Heart Dies. If you love the Fringe Scalloped collection so far, you are going to need these!!

The first thing I did to create this card was to cut two coordinating patterned paper to create layers using Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles. I centered a Fringe Scalloped Heart Die on my top layer to create a window. I filled this window with some black and white paper with lovey words on it and some cute little critters from the Lovie Friends Stamp Set. I colored my cute little critters with copics and had them peek out of the heart around another amazing word from the Brushed Script Valentine Word Dies. I added a few more embellishments to this card to balance out some of the splatter on the patterned paper. Here's a closer look:
