Happy Thursday!! It's one of my favorite day of the week and not just because it's almost Friday! Ha ha! It's because we get the share another super fun challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch and this week's is every bit as fun as they all are. I hope you are ready for it and will join us in creating.
My oldest has decided to try out wrestling so, I'm adding a new activity into the calendar I as just starting to get used to. Ha ha! I guess this is how it goes with kids. You try to keep everything in order and they come behind you and mix things up a little. Ha ha! I know NOTHING about wrestling so this will be an education for me. I even got to go buy a mouth guard and figure out how to form it to him last night (I ended up making my husband do the molding/fitting stuff...he he). Today will be his second practice and he was pretty excited about it which makes me super happy.
Well, I know you guys are here to see my card so I'll get down to it. :)
My card today uses some Reverse Confetti items. I started this card by picking out that fun geometric patterned paper for the card base. I liked the bits of wood grain in it so, I decided to go with wood veneer paper for my Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts. I layered my chevrons top and bottom to work with the sketch idea. Then added "birthday", from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts, cut from navy cardstock and "happy" stamped from the With Love stamp set using navy ink.
Super simple just like joining us for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge! I hope you see you over there!! Have a great day.
Very fun take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteYour take on the sketch is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe geometric background pattern paper and the wood grain chevron patterns are fabulous! The wood grain chevrons look like balsa wood. Correct?
ReplyDeleteIt's actually Birch veneer paper or at least that's the color they call it on Simon Says. Ha ha!! Thanks so much for visiting!!!
