Lil' Inker Designs March Release Day 2!

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today!  I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  I'm first up on the hop today but I hope you started at the beginning of the hop by going to the Lil' Inker Blog.  Don't forget to check it out.  For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!

First up, I made this adorable little gift of candy using the new Kraft Pillow Boxes, Dual Stitched Egg & Easter Greeting Die, and the Easter Hodge Podge Stamps.

I knew I wanted to create a window in this adorable Kraft Pillow Box using the new Dual Stitched Egg Die.  My problem was that I wanted to only cut through one side.  It took me a second but I realized that if I put several layers of cardstock inside the pillow box, it would save the bottom side of my box from cutting.  It worked really well.  I cut a piece of vellum to fit inside to fill the window I created and stamped it using a stamp from Easter Hodge Podge Stamps.  I love how you can see just a bit of the candy through the vellum.  To finish this off, I cut a bunny from the Bunnies & Bows Die Set using the new Easter Greetings Paper Pack.  How cute does this bunny look in chevron?  Fab!

Something else that is totally fab about the Easter Hodge Podge Stamps, they coordinate perfectly with Bunnies & Bows Die Set.  See...

Next up, another cute gift made even cuter with the tag I made using Embossed Dots Tags, Stitched Easter Basket Die, Dual Stitched Egg & Easter Greeting Die and Easter Greetings Paper Pack.

I started this cute tag with a super thick piece of watercolor paper because I wanted the crisp embossing that a thick fluffy paper gives.  You'll be totally in love with the impression the Embossed Dots Tags leaves behind.  I know I am and to further the love fest, did you notice that adorable basket?  I cut the Stitched Easter Basket Die from the inside of a cereal box.  I just really loved the color of the box with the colors of the Easter Greetings Paper Pack that I cut the eggs out of.  Such a cute pile of colorful patterned eggs!  The green Easter Greeting Die finished off my tag perfectly especially with a sweet puffy heart sticker.  Here's a little closeup:

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects.  See you then!
