First, I want to apologize for my post not being up on time. Apparently, I left it in draft mode....technology! ;) It's day two of the
Lil' Inker Designs
New Release Hop and I'm having the hardest time deciding what to share
with you on what days because I think it's all SO amazing! How's a girl
to choose? Lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the
Lil' Inker Store. How awesome is that? Awesome pretty much sums up
Amy's designs and hopefully you are coming here from
her blog. If not, don't miss out and make sure you start at the beginning of the hop, right here on the
Lil' Inker Blog.
Now I get to show off some more goodies including the
Perky Posies Die Set,
Awesome Blossoms Stamps,
Awesome Blossoms Dies,
Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares, and the
Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die. First up, the
Perky Posies Die Set.
These flowers are ADORABLE! I cut a ton of them out of all sorts of pattern papers and have them in a dish on my desk so they are available to add to any card that needs a little something more. For this card, I cut the
Stitched Scallop Border Die from some cute pattern paper and layered it under a cut from
Stitched Mats: Long Skinny Rectangles. Next, I cut the adorable
Love Tags Die Set from some linen vellum and looped a bunch of baker's twine through the hole before knotting it at the top. I layered on as many cute little
Perky Posies Dies as I could fit and added a sentiment strip to finish it off.
Next up, I had some fun with
Awesome Blossoms Stamps and
Awesome Blossoms Dies.
Again, I did some mass die cutting but this time with the
Awesome Blossoms Dies. Then I stamped them with
Awesome Blossoms Stamps in various shades of ink. I love how you can layer the stamps or not layer them and they still look just as awesome! I added my flowers to a
Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Square that I had cut and stamped with a sentiment from
Awesome Blossoms Stamps. I chose this black pattern paper and mounted my focal point at an angle to match the angle of the words. Finally, I trimmed off the overhang to finish the card.
Lastly, my card using the
Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die.
For this card, I cut three windows out of my patterned paper using
Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares. Next, I cut the
Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die from some pearlized paper and added a piece of vellum to the back of it. I layered this inside the center square of my pattern paper and added that to my card base. Finally, I added a resin flower, a paperclip ribbon banner, and some enamel dots to finish the look.
Here's a quick look at the products I used today:
I hope you enjoyed my creations
and will join the rest of the team on the hop. You'll want to leave
comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs
store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop. It could be
you. I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day
of release projects. See you then!
