Lil' Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop Day 2

I'm not sure if you guys are ready for Day 2.  Day 1 was such a big deal that you might need a little rest.  No?  Well then, let's check it out.  First, I have to make sure that you know that all of these fantastical goodies are available right this very second in the Lil' Inker Store.  You should have hopped here after you checked out Amy and her amazing creations.  If not, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a thing.  This release is too amazing to even miss one little post!  Now for my first card:

Talk about an amazingly bold statement.  This says I love...heck, maybe even I lust you!  ;)  The crazy thing is, it was made with one stamp set.  That's it.  When the stamp set is the Smooches Stamp Set, you can totally see why that's all it took.  It's big, bold, and I totally adore it.  I used some of the various sentiments in the set and made a background by stamping them in black on a diagonal across the entire card.  Then, I stamped and embossed the largest "kiss" on vellum.  I carefully trimmed out the lips leaving a little circle on one end since I knew I wanted to hang it.  I used a hole punch to make a hole in the circle making a tag out of my lips.  Then I attached the lips with a big read bow and added a few enamel dots for a little extra interest.  This card will get your Valentine's attention!

My next card also only required one of the amazing new stamp sets to make it a real eye catcher.  What do you think?

 
Perfect Pairs Stamp Set has got to be the cutest stamp set EVER!  I love the sweet little food guys SO much that I had to squeeze as many as I could on this card.  I took my time lining them up on my stamp press along with the sentiments so that I could stamp it all once and have it just right.  These guys are SO fun to color and my copics got a real workout but I love what taking my time got me.  I have a feeling my hubby will be seeing this card on Valentine's Day!
