Lil' Inker Designs December Release Blog Hop Day 1

http://www.lilinkerdesigns.com/

I am SO excited today!  You have no idea how it has been killing me waiting to share these amazing Lil' Inker Designs goodies with you.  Thank goodness the wait is over.  I swear, it's almost as bad as the wait on Christmas Eve...well, my kids might beg to differ but what do they know?  Ha ha!  This release is FABULOUS and I know once you start checking things out, you'll agree.  Lucky for you, the whole release is available right now in the Lil' Inker StoreAmy was first on this awesome hop and, hopefully, you got here via her blog.  If not, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a thing.  You will want to see all the amazing creations for this release.

Today, I'm going to show off these amazing products in this release:  All About Ampersands Die Set, All About Ampersand Stamp Set, and the Anytime Tags 2 Die Set.  My first card keeps me in the holiday spirit and shows just how versatile the All About Ampersand Stamp Set is.

I used the previously released Lil' Inker Designs Snowflake Dies to create a die cut background on navy cardstock which I layered over some light blue glitter paper.  I then cut out the amazing ampersand frame from the All About Ampersands Die Set in the same light blue glitter paper and attached it on top of my background.  I stamped "Merry" and "Bright" from the All About Ampersand Stamp Set in navy, cut those out, and attached them to my card front.  I finished the whole thing off with some bling and, man, this card REALLY shines.  I adore these ampersand sets.  SO much possibility, weddings, holidays, thank yous, thinking of yous...WOW!

Next up, I had some fun with Anytime Tags 2.

I love these tags!  The stitching, the notch at the bottom...swoon!  For this card, I layered a larger die cut tag with a smaller vellum tag.  I decided that the Anytime Tags 2 needed a little something special so I decided to do the ring in gold and tie some cool gold twine through them.  For my background, I used some cute heart patterned paper and then used another new release goodie that I almost forgot to mention (you'll see more of it tomorrow!), Long & Skinny Rectangles Die Set, to add a fun panel of coordinating patterned papers.  I wanted to draw your eye over to left of the card by gradually moving things in that direction.  The tags finish getting your eye to go where I want it rather well, especially with that lovely shiny ampersand from the All About Ampersands Die Set.  You really can't miss that beauty and all it took was a simple "Mr." and "Mrs." stamped in black from the All About Ampersand Stamp Set to make this a great wedding or even anniversary card.  How awesome is that?

Here's a quick look at the products I used today:
