Ok, I'm super duper excited to share my card with you today for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I just LOVE it! Don't you love when you sit down and make a card and in the end it just wows you? That is how I felt when I made this card. I wasn't thinking it was going to be that exciting but when I photographed it, I fell in love. Do you ever have that happen? Well, I guess I better show you what I'm talking about. ;) First, the sketch:
Are you ready for it? Here's my card:
Do you see what I'm talking about? I know it's the kitty that makes the card but I just love the whole thing! Everything on this card is from the Studio Calico Sandlot card kit except for the gold "i" and the enamel heart. There is just something about that adorable wooden cat. I know I need more of them...like now! ;)
Things are nuts around this house. My oldest is still in New York hanging out with his grandparents. We were supposed to head out this weekend to pick him up but he asked for an extension. Ha ha! He is my little entrepreneur and, with my mom and grandma having an annual garage sale the first weekend of September, he assured me that they "needed" his expertise. ;) How can I argue with that? I had planned to start our schooling the first week of September but the beauty of homeschooling is that things can change and we can be flexible. He'll be learning many things while he's in New York that he wouldn't get to do at home and who wouldn't want a couple more weeks of summer? Ha ha!
I hope you enjoyed my card and that you will go play along with our challenge this week at CAS(E) this Sketch. I can't wait to see what you create!
