Cameo Spotlight!

Was I ever excited to get an e-mail from Jackie asking if I'd like to be a Guest Designer over at The Cameo Spotlight.  It just happens to be one of my favorite new challenge blogs!  So, what's the challenge?  It's a color challenge and, boy, are these great colors.  Talk about putting you in the autumn mood.

To top it all off...Avery Elle is sponsoring this challenge!  How cool is that?  If you've ever looked at my blog, you know about my new found love of Avery Elle stamps and cut files.  It makes using your Silhouette with your stamps an amazing adventure and SO easy!

I hope you will play along with this amazing challenge and I can't wait to see what you come up with!  Just use the colors above and follow the rules stated here.  As for me, I had a blast with this challenge!

My card uses the Blooming Banner stamp set and cut file from Avery Elle.  I used the cut file to create a masked portion on the card for my image before I splattered the background using some ink and water pens.  I then used a different shape from the cut file to create the yellow extension of the bloom shape.  I finished the whole thing off with some embellishments from the Story Teller collection from Crate Paper.  Here's the finished product.  Hope you like it!
