Popcorn And A Play Date

There is a strange phenomenon in my parents' house and it has something to do with popcorn.  It seems that whenever a grandpa opens/pops a bag of popcorn, little rugrats come out of the wood work and descend upon him.  Like moths to a flame or locusts to a crop, they come and have the same effect on the popcorn as the locusts would on a field...total destruction.  I was lucky enough to capture this strange happening on film last night around 7pm.

It's pretty hard for a poor grandpa to have to deal with.  Don't worry, I'll divert your attention with an awesome challenge I just finished!

The Play Date Cafe's Challenge this week was AWESOME!!  The colors were:  cherry, mint julep, and jade.  They totally make me think retro but I wasn't inspired to go that route.  Instead, I went more flowery than normal and I used some generational stamping which I almost never do.  Hmm...I guess crazier things have happened.  Here's the inspiration and my card!  Hope you like them and come play along.

Stamps: Designer Woodgrain (Hero Arts), Natural Beauties (PTI)
Dies:  Mat Stack 3, Mat Stack Layerz 3 (PTI)
Inks:  Ocean Tides, New Leaf, Pure Poppy (PTI)
Paper:  Ocean Tides, Grid Lines, White (PTI)
Misc:  Foam Tape, Buttons, Twine
