A Date with Colors

Good afternoon, I just finished my workout and had a chance to work on a card for The Play Date Cafe's latest challenge #134.  I was feeling all pumped up after 20 mins of 30 Day Shred and surprisingly, my card turned out all feminine.  I guess I was feeling the GIRL POWER!!  ;)  Take a look at the awesome inspiration picture:

I must say that even though it is nothing at all like what I usually wear (aka yoga capris and a t-shirt), I'm really liking the model's outfit.  I'd have to do TONS more shredding before I could pull that look off though.  Ha ha!  Bear with me as I take you on the crazy journey my mind took while deciding which direction to take this card.  Here goes:  Ooo, I like her outfit...nice fabric...I saw these really cute pillows with blocks of different fabrics on etsy...I have some cool scraps in these colors...blocks of color, yeah...polka dots, color, flowers, VELLUM!  That's about how it went.  I pity my poor husband whenever he has to follow my train of thought.  Poor poor man.  Anyway, here's my card!

Stamps:  Rainbow and Clouds Set (Lil' Inker Designs)
Inks:  Classic Kraft (PTI)
Paper:  Rustic Cream, Vellum (PTI), Salt Air 6x6 (Cosmo Cricket), Paper Heart Collection (Crate Paper), Head Over Heels (Lilybee Designs)
Misc:  Melon Berry Ribbon, Kraft Button & Baker's Twine (PTI), Bling (Basic Grey), Swiss Dot Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Silhouette Cameo, Shine Mist (Mister Huey's), Mini Swiss Dot Mask (The Crafter's Workshop)

Do you see my ramblings in there somewhere?  I cut the flower out of vellum using my Silhouette Cameo and then embossed one layer to differentiate between the two.  I also played with more mist and a mask!  I think I may be breaking out mists more often...it was fun!  I hope you enjoyed my card and will come play along with me!
